Hannjuschka, Bern
Foulard Design:
"In order to capture the hypnotic effect nature so often has on me, I wanted to evoke a dreamlike sensation through the design of the foulard. It's like falling through the rabbit hole into a kaleidoscope, where reality and imagination merge. My goal was to create an atmosphere of mystery and wonder without something frightening. By incorporating a repeating pattern, I drew inspiration from fractal geometry-patterns that appear similar at any scale and are often found in nature. This choice also reflects the idea that even the smallest changes or disruptions in nature can create a ripple effect, leading to greater impacts elsewhere.
I made a direct reference to Volta, emphasizing how a single change in one area can trigger a series of changes in another. This connects to the idea that even if we represent just a small element within the vast universe-like a tiny plant-we still hold the power to initiate greater transformations. In this way, the foulard serves not only as a reflection of natural beauty but also as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all things." - Hannjuschka
